NEW! Hydro-FAST Swim
Sure your child can swim, but are his strokes effective? Does he “muscle” his way down the lanes, lacking the finesse to become a total athlete? Does he wear out quickly, losing the finer points of his stroke… and ultimately adding seconds to his race?
Hydro-Fast is a swim clinic designed to take the solid basics your swimmer already brings to the pool and refine his details into a stronger, healthier and value added practice.
Even masterful champions rely on coaching to detail their swims into triumphs.
This program will put your swimmer in a better position, whether he just wants to tune up before this summer’s swim club, or is preparing for next fall’s middle school or high school swim team.
This clinic is for the person who wants to take what they love (swimming) and add techniques that will reward them on a sporting level.
If you are a 4th through 8th grade student who can swim 50 yards freestyle and backstroke continuously, contact (972)624-2225 to schedule your free try-out on March 8th. There are three levels: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. Class size is limited to ensure best coach/swimmer ratio. Should we receive overwhelming response, more classes may be added to the schedule.

Cost: $80

Intermediate 4:45-5:30pm/

Coach Michael Taylor’s Bio
Michael Taylor is an experienced coach in several sports, who has created this special Hydro-Fast Clinic to fill a specific need in this region. “I believe a swimmer should get the basics down with solid technique, endurance training, and dry-land work-outs, but it’s just as important to focus on the mental aspects.”
From early on, Michael was intensely sports active but had no opportunity for competitive swimming until he moved to Texas. Swimming in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation and medaling in the Texas Winter Games, Michael saw good swimmers whose strokes needed more instruction on focused details. “I love teaching and seeing swimmers improve.”
Michael has formal swim coaching experience with Coach Joyce (Jo) Curry of H2O-GO! and Coach Amanda Wall of the USA Swim team Sea Dragons. He is an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, with additional certifications in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
