The Colony Seniors regularly plan fun and exciting day trips and events. Check the Calendar and Happenings links for additional information. Reservations are always required and early sign-up is important. Most trips require registration no later than one week prior to event. Check with the center for availability and sign-up as early as possible. Trips with pre-purchased tickets may sell out several weeks in advance. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

This fairytale ballet is a magical production at the Winspear Opera House. Grandmothers are encouraged to invite their granddaughters to hear the music of Tchaikovsky and see the story of The Sleeping Beauty and her Prince.

The Community Center will be transformed to make you think you’re in Vegas. Experience Roulette, Craps, Texas Hold’em, Black Jack, and Slots. Chips have no monetary value. At the end of the evening, trade in your chips for door prize tickets. Refreshments furnished by Autumn Leaves.

***Day trips are subject to a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 28 participation requirements. Reservations are only confirmed after payment has been received. All reservations are on a first come, first served basis. If a trip does not make, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for refund to account if trip does not have a pre-purchased ticket. Trips with a pre-purchased ticket, are NOT eligible for refund.
