Everyone loves a parade!

Bring the whole family out to enjoy lots of floats and marching groups as The Colony celebrates Independence Day with a hometown parade.

The theme for this year's parade is:

We Made History

"Important Figures In America's Story"

PARADE ROUTE: The parade route starts at the Little League fields on North Colony Blvd., then heads west on North Colony to Blair Oaks and then south on Blair Oaks to The Colony High School and the Five Star Complex. Lineup for the parade begins at 9:15am. The parade begins at 10:00am on July 3rd.

Traffic at the lineup area can be quite congested on parade days, so residents not participating in or viewing the parade are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.

Groups that wish to participate in the parade can do so free of charge. Simply fill out a Parade Registration Form and submit it to the Parks and Recreation Department at 5151 North Colony Blvd., or fax it to (972)624-2281.
